According to the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA), Iranian government spokesperson Mohajrani stated that constructive cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad has ensured smooth traffic and trade along their shared border. Mohajrani said that despite continuous pressure from hostile forces attempting to create obstacles by blocking and interfering with Iran's maritime shipping and transportation routes, the Iranian foreign ministry and relevant administrative agencies have taken proactive measures to effectively mitigate the impact of economic blockades.
She pointed out that given the significant share of maritime routes in Iran's foreign trade, Iranian customs and border management agencies have been instructed to rapidly upgrade land transportation infrastructure. Mohajrani emphasized that thanks to continued diplomatic efforts and the friendly cooperation of the Pakistani government, land border trade between Iran and Pakistan remains completely unimpeded.
