Teradyne (NASDAQ:TER) said it has launched the UltraFLEXplus S series, an expansion of its UltraFLEXplus test platform targeted at semiconductor manufacturing for edge-AI applications. The platform is designed to support multi-product, variable-volume production while maximizing unit-area throughput and operational efficiency. The lead model, UltraFLEXplus S24, is a 24-slot system positioned for both engineering development and volume production, targeting integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) and outsourced semiconductors assembly and test (OSAT) vendors prioritizing cost efficiency.
