Reserve Bank of Australia Governor Bullock said on Wednesday the RBA will use
next week’s policy meeting to assess whether four rate increases this year are
sufficient to return inflation to target within a reasonable time. He warned a
fresh, sharp rise in oil and related product prices will materially lift
inflation and said the key question is whether tightening to date will be enough
to achieve that return in a reasonable timeframe.
