By the 23:00 close, China's main futures contracts were mostly lower. Fuel oil fell nearly 2%; pure benzene, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), PTA, offset paper, styrene (EB) and p-xylene dropped over 1%. On the upside, coking coal rose more than 3%; coke and soda ash gained over 2%; glass climbed nearly 2%; PVC and ethylene glycol (EG) were up above 1%; polypropylene (monthly average) and rapeseed meal rose about 1%.
