At the morning close in China, most-traded futures were mixed: ethylene glycol
(EG) rose more than 3%, synthetic rubber nearly 3%, aluminum, apples, coking
coal, PVC and red dates each gained over 2%, and platinum climbed above 1%.
Decliners included lithium carbonate down over 3%, Europe-route container
shipping freight down more than 2%, caustic soda down about 2%, fiberboard down
over 1% and benzene down roughly 1%.
