Oct 28 — Huawei Terminal BG CEO He Gang said the Mate 90 series will receive an
OTA upgrade by year-end to support four-card/three-standby, the first smartphone
series in the industry to offer the capability. The Mate 90 Pro Max first
introduced four-card/three-standby, supporting up to two physical SIMs plus two
eSIM numbers (four numbers total). Users can configure combinations (two
physical; one physical + one eSIM; or two physical + one eSIM) to keep three
cards simultaneously on standby and online; all three can make calls, use data
and send/receive SMS.
