According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company stated that the Sarraj gas storage facility has set a new storage record, with natural gas injection operations completed ahead of schedule by approximately 3%. The models are expected to feature an OLED XDR touchscreen and Dynamic Island — both firsts for Mac — and to push starting prices to new highs. Insiders told Gurman Apple has discussed pricing a new 14‑inch with the M5 Pro chip at $2,899, about $400 above the current M5 Pro 14‑inch. The existing non‑touch 16‑inch MacBook Pro starts at $2,999; the new 16‑inch would start at least $3,399. A $2,899 base for the 14‑inch would be the highest starting price for a MacBook Pro, surpassing the $2,799 17‑inch model from 2006.
