At the opening of the night trading session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with asphalt rising over 3%, ethylene glycol (EG), fuel oil, SC crude oil, and polyethylene rising over 2%, and methanol, staple fiber, and bottled fiber rising nearly 2%. On the downside, caustic soda fell nearly 2%, and coking coal fell nearly 1%.
