Fitch chief economist Brian Coulton said data due in the coming weeks are likely
to provide the Fed with the signals needed to raise rates in December: strong
unit-profit growth, elevated energy prices and a broadening of inflation over
the past year point to upside risks for the US inflation outlook, despite recent
stability in core CPI.
