Mahmoud Maleki, head of the Public Relations Department of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, stated that the Tehran Quadrilateral Conference itself demonstrated Iran's goodwill and its responsible attitude in safeguarding the common interests of the people of the region. Iran hopes that all regional countries, including Qatar, will demonstrate goodwill in their policies and positions, adhere to the principle of good neighborliness, and resolutely refrain from taking any further actions, especially allowing an aggressor to use their territory and facilities to launch a military attack against Iran. Maleki also mentioned that the Quadrilateral Conference held in Tehran by Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia discussed many beneficial issues.
