MOFCOM published 2027 goods export quotas. Key quotas: licorice and products 5.2 mln kg; cultivated ephedra for medicinal use 1.0804 mln kg; live pigs to Hong Kong and Macau 1.6054 mln head; live cattle to Hong Kong and Macau 22,000 head; live chickens to Hong Kong 3.0 mln birds; sawn timber 150,000 m3; rush grass and products 14.0 mln kg. Phosphate ore and silver export quota management will remain suspended in 2027 and will be managed via export licenses. Eligible exporters may apply for licenses with valid goods export contracts; silver exported under processing trade will follow existing rules. Exporters must present the export license to customs to complete export clearance.
