Israel’s Central Elections Committee completed the preliminary count on the evening of the 29th (local time) and released provisional results. With all special ballots included, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s right‑wing governing bloc won 53 seats, a bloc led by former IDF chief of staff Eisenkot won 48 seats, and Arab parties outside those two blocs won 19 seats. No single bloc reached the 61‑seat majority required to form a government ballot. After statutory ballot cross‑checks and legal appeals, the committee will publish final official results on November 4, after which President Herzog will consult party delegations and formally appoint a lawmaker to try to form the next government.
