According to The Washington Post, sources familiar with Trump's schedule revealed that he will not travel to Kansas for a campaign rally as previously planned this Saturday, but will instead hold a series of teleconference campaign events. Trump was originally scheduled to travel to Salina, Kansas on Saturday to campaign for Republican candidates. Trump still plans to travel to Daytona Beach, Florida on Friday. According to The Hill and CNN White House reporters, citing Trump's advisors, Trump has also canceled a planned rally in Iowa on Sunday. Trump's team explained that canceling the two weekend rallies was to allow him to reach more areas remotely. After holding a rally in Florida on Friday, Trump will remain at Mar-a-Lago for the weekend. It is worth noting that there are widespread rumors that Trump will resume attacks on Iran after the midterm elections (November 3rd local time).
