Gallup on the 29th found 56% of U.S. adults say they are paying "quite a lot" of
attention to the Nov. 3, 2026 midterm elections, the highest level Gallup has
recorded. Of 11 issues tested, the economy, health care and the situation in
Iran highest: 50% of Americans ranked the economy and health care
"extremely important" and 47% said the Iran situation was "extremely important."
