At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with apples up over 4%, asphalt and caustic soda up over 3%, ethylene glycol (EG) up nearly 3%, pulp, urea, and eggs up over 2%, and glass up over 1%. On the downside, silver fell nearly 5%, platinum fell over 4%, tin and palladium fell over 3%, polysilicon fell over 2%, and gold, paraxylene, and coking coal fell over 1%.
