Beijing, Oct 30 — China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) Vice Minister Xie Yuansheng met with Helena Budliger Artieda, Director and State Secretary of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), to discuss deepening cooperation in the watchmaking and pharmaceutical sectors. The two sides signed a revised memorandum of understanding under the China‑Switzerland Economic and Trade Joint Committee to strengthen watch cooperation; MIIT said the revised MOU continues and upgrades existing cooperation mechanisms and that it will work with SECO to expand industrial cooperation in watches and pharmaceuticals.
