According to OCBC's daily credit market report released on October 30, Asian dollar high-yield bond spreads widened by 30 basis points to 446 basis points in a single day, and by a cumulative widening of 43 basis points during the week; meanwhile, Asian dollar investment-grade bond spreads remained flat at 71 basis points, indicating a widening divergence in the credit market. In the US market, investment-grade bond spreads widened by 1 basis point to 87 basis points, and high-yield bond spreads widened by 11 basis points to 323 basis points.
