Changxin Memory Technologies Co., Ltd. released its Q3 2026 report on October 30th, achieving revenue of RMB 118.714 billion, a year-on-year increase of 613.18% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 19.3%. Gross profit margin reached 89.53%, an increase of 1.94 percentage points compared to the previous quarter. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 54.435 billion, a quarter-on-quarter increase of only 3.01%. The significant divergence between revenue and profit growth indicates that revenue expansion has not yet translated into increased net profit. The company stated that global demand for computing power and capacity adjustments by major manufacturers have driven a supply shortage of DRAM, resulting in both increased sales volume and price, while economies of scale have led to a decrease in unit costs. In terms of technology, Reuters reported on October 28th that the early yield rate of Changxin's HBM3E chips is approximately 20%-30%, lower than SK Hynix's approximately 70%. The company plans to start limited mass production within the next two months. The high gross profit margin of the traditional DRAM business and the gap in manufacturing yield of advanced HBM products reflect a discrepancy between the company's current profitability and its competitiveness in high-end memory technology.
