The U.S. Aluminum Association is pushing Canada and Mexico to apply the same
tariffs as the U.S. on aluminum imports from outside North America to ensure
fair intraregional trade, CEO Chuck Johnson said. When asked whether the group
favors lowering the U.S. 50% aluminum tariff, Johnson said the association has
no position.
