According to the latest Axios-CivicScience Artificial Intelligence Sentiment Index report released Friday, Americans are optimistic that artificial intelligence will boost economic growth, but do not believe it will create jobs in the process. The net sentiment index for October was 41.8, indicating a generally negative attitude towards AI. Of the six sub-indicators, only economic growth received a positive rating.
