San Francisco Fed President DALY said on Friday AI affects not only the
long-term outlook but is closely linked to the Fed's near- and medium-term
policy decisions. DALY said the Fed needs to understand how technological
advances affect U.S. growth, productivity and the labor market to assess
implications for inf, price stability and maximum employment under its dual
mandate.
