According to Fars News Agency, the Iranian cabinet has entrusted the review of gasoline prices and quotas to a special energy task force comprised of representatives from seven ministries: the Ministry of Petroleum, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Intelligence, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, the Planning and Budget Organization, the Government Information and Publicity Committee, and the Energy Optimization and Strategic Management Organization. The task force's responsibility is to continuously review and adjust energy product prices and quotas across different consumption sectors to manage energy consumption, optimize energy allocation, and prevent resource waste.
