At end-Q3 2026 securities firms were among the top-10 free‑float shareholders at 228 A‑share companies. Aggregate broker-held market value was 55.98 bln yuan, down 27.49% QoQ; shares held totaled about 4.699 bln, down 13.32% QoQ. Excluding non-bank financials and banks, broker stakes in pharma & biotech, basic chemicals and electronics exceeded 2.0 bln yuan, at 4.76 bln, 2.74 bln and 2.66 bln yuan respectively. Eighty-four stocks had broker holdings above 100 mln yuan; 12 stocks above 500 mln yuan. Largest single-stock broker stakes were Jiangsu Bank 11.43 bln yuan, Zhongxin Jiantou 8.82 bln yuan and Yongan Futures 5.32bln yuan.
