Doha for a third day aiming to reach an agreement to end the US‑and‑Israeli
campaign against Iran. The talks come amid concern that the conflict could
escalate ahead of the US midterms. Trump has said he will not launch new strikes
before the vote and called talks productive, but did not rule out later military
action. Iran has warned it would strike US and Israeli targets in neighboring countries
countries if attacked. Rubio said on Saturday Trump has not decided on new
strikes and prefers a diplomatic solution.
