Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, in an interview with Al Jazeera, stated that the war was not provoked by Iran; Iran was merely acting in self-defense. In this self-defense, Iran only struck US targets, which unfortunately were located within the territory of the relevant countries. Iran will not hesitate to target US military bases in the region, and will certainly include them in its strikes. The same applies to other US targets. There are also some targets in the region that, while not located within military bases, belong entirely to the United States. In my view, regional countries should take measures to prevent a new round of war, because unfortunately, if a new war breaks out, the entire region will suffer the consequences.
