Iran’s foreign said minister after mediation talks in Qatar and Pakistan Tehran
has agreed to a two‑day plan: day one the US would take a package of compliance
measures; day two the Strait of Hormuz would be reopened and shipping restored.
Iran said resumption of Iran‑US negotiations depends on US fulfillment of
commitments, which Iran listed as: agreeing new navigation routes through the
Strait of Hormuz, unfreezing Iranian assets, ending regional conflicts including
in Lebanon, lifting maritime blockades, granting exemptions for Iranian oil
exports, and removing US sanctions imposed after the Islamabad memorandum.
