BOE Technology said in investor-relations notes that a major smartphone customer
will launch a foldable this year, a move expected to lift global foldable-phone
shipments. BOE has begun mass production and shipments of a mirror-effect
“seamless” panel to some domestic customers and reports deep partnerships with
domestic and international brands, with several product and technology firsts
across form factors. Citing consultancy data, the company noted rising memory
prices are prompting brands to allocate scarce storage to higher-end models,
making foldables a key beneficiary and supporting rapid segment
growth—conditions BOE says leave it well positioned to benefit.
