At China Merchants Bank’s Nov. 2, 2026 Q3 results briefing, deputy president, chief financial officer and board secretary Peng Jiawen said asset‑liability growth will slow and improve in quality, customer base and AUM are expected to sustain solid growth, and asset quality should remain broadly stable. On net interest margins he said the banking sector showed a short‑term stabilization through the first three quarters, but overall downward pressure on margins has not been fundamentally eased.
