ANTHROPIC said in a filing it will offer up to JPY552.9 bln (about $3.5 bln) of
shares to Japanese investors as part of its U.S. IPO. Proceeds are earmarked for
working capital, operating expenses and capital expenditure. The filing did not
disclose overall IPO size or valuation. Refinitiv earlier reported some
investors had discussed a valuation near $1.5 tln.
