Nov 2 CHINA spokesperson Mao Ning said at a regular briefing that China has
noted reports of N. KOREA conducting a tactical ballistic missile test assessing
submunition warhead lethality and Pyongyang’s recent statements responding to
US–South Korea–Japan military moves. She said China hopes parties confront the
peninsula’s root causes, pursue a political resolution and take steps to ease
tensions and preserve regional peace and stability.
