According to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghae stated that, given the recipient of the US letter was the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, the decision on how and in what manner to respond would be made by the Secretary based on the highest national interests. Baghae pointed out that all dialogues and indirect negotiations between Iran and the US through intermediaries remain primarily based on the Iranian-proposed plan. This plan has now been streamlined and is capable of full implementation within two days. He emphasized that this flexibility in timing reflects Iran's goodwill and constructive attitude. Baghae concluded by stressing that the implementation of this plan, the initiation of negotiations, and the rapid restoration of security in the Strait of Hormuz depend entirely on the actions, decisions, and concrete actions of the US.
