On Nov. 2 in Beijing, China's agriculture minister Zhang Zhu met Indonesia's
Agriculture minister Suleiman to deepen bilateral agricultural cooperation.
China proposed cooperation focused on rice, palm oil, coffee, coconut, garlic
and dairy through technology exchanges, industrial collaboration and adoption of
new equipment, targeting agri-industry upgrades, stronger supply-chain
resilience and higher value-chain returns. Suleiman said Indonesia seeks Chinese
agricultural technology and wants to attract more Chinese agribusiness
investment to expand bilateral agricultural trade.
