[CSRC: First Batch of 18 Actively Managed ETFs Registered on October 19, Launched Fundraising on October 23, Overall Fundraising Performance is Good] A spokesperson for the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) answered reporters' questions regarding recent efforts to stabilize the market and expectations. Actively managed ETFs are publicly offered fund products where fund managers independently select stocks, time the market, and allocate assets based on their professional investment research capabilities. They do not aim to track a specific index and can be traded in real-time on the exchange, with physical creation and redemption. They combine the characteristics of active management of ordinary funds and the flexibility and high transparency of ETF trading, meeting the needs of investors with different risk appetites and continuously introducing incremental funds into the market. Since the CSRC announced the launch of actively managed ETFs in June this year, fund companies have actively applied. The first batch of 18 actively managed ETFs was registered on October 19 and launched fundraising on October 23, with overall fundraising performance being good. As of November 2, a total of over 35 billion yuan had been raised, of which 16 products have reached the 2 billion yuan fundraising limit and closed their fundraising periods.
