According to the Wall Street Journal: Sources familiar with the matter said that institutional investors told Anthropic in the past few days that the company’s valuation in its planned initial public offering (IPO) later this month should be around $1.5 trillion to $1.6 trillion; a figure far lower than the valuation of nearly $2 trillion that has been circulating in recent months.
