According to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf stated in a parliamentary address that Iran has responded strongly and rationally to the United States, and now "the ball is in the US's court," meaning it should be the US that prevents war. Ghalibaf pointed out that regional countries should understand that while Iran is "with its finger on the trigger," ready to fight at any time, it has also demonstrated rationality and restraint. He emphasized that Iran is currently at the highest level of defensive preparedness on the battlefield and in the military sphere. Ghalibaf also warned Washington that if the US makes another strategic miscalculation, it must understand that "this time it will face a completely new war situation," at which point the US will be even more helpless in searching for a way out than it is now.
