Guangdong’s consumer expansion plan calls for accelerating AI+consumption by
promoting high‑end AI hardware—AI smartphones and PCs, smart wearables, services
robots and desktop 3D printers—and speeding R&D and interoperability for smart
security and video‑care systems to broaden digital product demand. The plan
backs intelligent connected vehicles, encouraging OEMs, in line with
regulations, to pursue L3 autonomous vehicle approvals and road‑test pilots, and
to orderly conduct intelligent‑driving testing and commercial operations in the
Greater Bay Area. It aims to cultivate leading first‑launch companies and
platforms, guide cities to attract high-level domestic and overseas flagship
first stores, support premium brands’ product debuts and launch events, and
encourage cities to set up green‑channel entry for first stores.
