Iran parliament speaker Ghalibaf said on the 3rd that Iran is battle-ready, with
its finger on the trigger, and will respond authoritatively and rationally to
any US action. He said the ball is on Washington’s side and the US must prevent
war. Ghalibaf added Iran is at the highest level of defensive readiness in both
battlefield and military domains and that the Supreme Leader has approved
military plans to counter possible attacks. He warned that a further US
strategic error would face a new battlefield and leave Washington more helpless,
and that Iran will deliver unpredictable military and strategic responses to any
enemy miscalculation, including by the US and Israel.
