At a Nov. 3 foreign ministry briefing, a Reuters reporter noted an Omani
delegation was in Beijing on Nov. 2 and asked whether it had opportunities to
meet Saudi and Iranian security officials and whether China would provide a
venue. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said the ministry has published
information on the visit and that, from China’s perspective, it is willing to
play a role in promoting dialogue and facilitating exchanges.
