On Nov 3, 2026 in Beijing, CHINA FOREIGN MINISTER Wang Yi met Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sihasak during the 11th Lancang‑Mekong foreign ministers' meeting. Wang said China is willing to prepare next‑stage high‑level exchanges to underpin bilateral ties, and is willing to continue opening its vast market to Thailand, encourage more Chinese firms to invest in Thailand and expand cooperation in artificial intelligence, data centers and semiconductors; he asked Thailand to maintain a stable, predictable business environment for Chinese investors. The two sides agreed to step up joint enforcement against online gambling and telecom fraud.
