Diwei II Space Technology (Hangzhou) Co. and Oman Lens Ltd signed a space
artificial intelligence agreement, marking the first overseas constellation by a
Chinese commercial space firm and the largest single overseas
commercial-satellite project and cooperation value on record for China’s
commercial space sector. The deal centers on two initiatives: a Space Silk Road
program focused on building an Oman Lens constellation and a Space Leadership
Talent program. The initial batch is expected to include 20 satellites.
