Anthropic's revenue per employee over the past 12 months (TTM) has exceeded $6.6 million, second only to Nvidia's $7.2 million, and higher than Meta's $3.6 million, Apple's $3.1 million, and Amazon's $0.5 million. Anthropic's prospectus shows that as of September 30, 2026, the company had approximately 5,300 employees, an increase of about 170% year-over-year; during the same period, TTM revenue increased by about 1200%, and revenue per employee rose from $1.4 million to over $6.6 million, nearly 4.7 times the original figure. This is relatively unusual, as Anthropic does not appear to have expanded its workforce proportionally while rapidly scaling its business. The company attributes this performance to talent density, the widespread use of Claude in internal workflows, and highly efficient sales channels.
