At the opening of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined, with low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) falling over 4%, fuel oil and tin falling over 3%, and apples, palladium, palm oil, and platinum falling over 2%, while lithium carbonate fell nearly 2%. On the upside, caustic soda rose nearly 3%, container shipping to Europe, glass, and soda ash rose over 1%, and iron ore rose nearly 1%.
