Marubeni CEO said strong demand from data centers and AI should keep the copper
market firm over the mid to long term. The company expects the US midterm
elections to be neutral for its FY2026 business and does not foresee major US
policy changes in FY2026. Marubeni will continue investing in cost-competitive
nonferrous assets located in low country-risk jurisdictions. The company expects
LNG prices to remain elevated.
