The National Development and Reform Commission said at a press briefing that
over the 15th Five-Year Plan period it will strengthen fresh-produce origin
market systems and inspection/testing capacity, accelerate farmgate pre-cooling
and origin cold‑chain consolidation centers, and build a number of key
agricultural wholesale markets to lower post-harvest and distribution losses.
