XPeng Group, with research teams from Peking University, the University of Hong Kong
Kong and other universities, released GroundingPI, an embodied-perception
foundation pretraining model following a "perception-first" approach. At about 4
billion parameters it ranks first in a composite evaluation across 34 public
perception benchmarks and reports higher data-processing efficiency and stronger
scene generalization in robotic simulation tasks.
