A China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute report
released Nov 4 says China’s new-generation display industry reached 838.6 bln
yuan in output in 2025 and accounts for more than 53% of global market value;
panel shipment area exceeded 220 mln sq m, a 77% global share. The report says
China now hosts the most complete global technology layout for display panel
In June China began mass production on its first domestic—and the
world’s second—8.6‑generation AMOLED line in Chengdu, a capacity addition
expected to accelerate OLED expansion from smartphones into notebook and
monitor-sized panels.
