Five ministries issued an Action Plan to implement a comprehensive conservation
strategy. By 2030, compared with 2025, China aims to reduce energy consumption
and water consumption per unit of GDP by about 10% each and construction land
use area per unit of GDP by about 15%; food-chain losses across the grain supply
chain will be continuously reduced; annual reuse of major recycled resources is
targeted to reach 510 million tonnes.
