The 140th Canton Fair closed in Guangzhou today, drawing 352,000 overseas buyers
from 219 countries and regions—up 12.2% from the previous session and a record
high. Of roughly 32,000 exhibitors, more than 11,000 were high-quality firms
including specialized and 'single‑champion' companies. Exhibits highlighted
frontier products such as high-end chips, advanced energy storage and manned and
unmanned drones. AI-driven products in service robotics, smart home and smart
eldercare, pitched at practical application scenarios to tap overseas consumers
demand, were also showcased as highlights.
