A ballistic missile struck a Yemeni government military training center in
Qataba district, Dhale governorate in southern Yemen on the 4th, killing at
at least 10 new recruits and wounding 52, a government officer who declined to be
named said. Recruits were conducting morning drills when the strike occurred.
The officer said local hospitals were overwhelmed and ambulances transferred
many critically wounded to Aden; he warned the death toll could rise and blamed
Houthi forces for the attack.
