On Nov. 5, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a regular briefing
that the US midterm elections are a domestic matter. China is willing to
continue working with the US to uphold and implement the two leaders' important
strengthen consensus, strengthen communication, manage differences, expand cooperation and
build a constructive, strategic and stable China–US relationship based on
respect, fairness and reciprocity.
